I’ve long considered myself a human of student nature. Wait, what? You know what I mean. Unfortunately in 34 years of preparing my ultimate treatise on the human condition, a work that will no doubt put Hume to shame one day, there’s only been one observation that has proven itself unrelentingly reliable. We’re all hypocrites and ya don’t stop. I keep coming back to it, because, well, if you haven’t thought about that before, try it on for size. It bends the mind. I mean, what’s the point of even trying to understand something that operates like that? We preach one thing, maybe even believe it, but do the opposite. Almost without fail.
I’ve had frequent recurring observations on this subject lately and have decided, in an attempt to better understand it, to start exploring some of these ideas in written word, ipso facto: blog posts. And there you have it, really. Consider yourself introduced to this blog.
